Cyclic symmetry
In cyclic symmetry a feature is regularly repeated about an axis of rotation, such as turbine blades. Instead of modeling the entire structure, cyclic symmetry reduces the model size to only one segment containing the repetitious feature. Cyclic symmetry can be used in static & vibration analysis. In thermal analysis only steady state analyses can use cyclic symmetry.
Centrifugal loads
Centrifugal accelerations can be specified in static analysis.
