Pressure vessel components
To automate the FE analysis of certain common pressure vessel components, LISA supplies templates for -
- » nozzle & cylindrical shells with openings
- » nozzles for spherical and conical heads
The user has to simply enter the dimensions in the text boxes, and the mesh with the specified pressure load is created automatically.
Pre-processor
The revolve & extrude tools can be used to create shells. The hollow tool can be used to convert a 2D plane mesh into a sphere, cylinder, cone, torisphere or hemisphere.
