Pressure vessel components
To automate the FE analysis of certain common pressure vessel components, LISA supplies templates for -
- » nozzle & cylindrical shells with openings
- » miter bends and curved pipes
- » expansion bellows
- » nozzles for spherical and conical heads
The user has to simply enter the relevant values in the text boxes, and the mesh with the specified pressure load is created automatically.
Pre-processor
The revolve & extrude tools can be used to create shells. The hollow tool can be used to convert a 2D plane mesh into a sphere, cylinder, cone, torisphere or hemisphere.
