Types of Solvers

For Dynamic Analysis of small sytems the Cyclic Jacobi-Method may be coupled with a solver for the Mode Superposition Method, so that the Mode Superposition Method uses the output data from the Jacobi-Method.

For Dynamic Response Analysis of large systems, the following are the available solution options - Central Difference Method, Newmark Integration Method, Wilson Integration Method, Houbolt Integration Method

LISA uses the COLESKI Method to solve the system of linear equations of a finite element analysis.

Large Eigenvalue-problems can be solved using the Subspace-Iteration Method.

Smaller Eigenvalue problems can be solved using the Cyclic Jacobi-Method.
